BEAM ANNOUNCEMENTS
Enroll in our College Start program!
BEAM's College Start program provides individualized, focused college application support. By signing up to this program, you will have access to 1-on-1 college admissions advising, support at critical aspects of the college application process, and career development assistance.
In addition, ONLY students enrolled in College Start will:
Be able to apply to our BEAM College Scholarship
Be able to apply early for the limited BEAM College and Career Success Engagement Kits, which includes a free Macbook
Receive incentives for completing program requirements: Amazon gift cards and college swag!
In return, you must complete the following requirements:
Meet with me (virtually or in person) once before November 1st
Complete a virtual, 1-hour asynchronous career development training by March 1st
Meet with me (virtually or in person) once in March or April
Submit items related to the college application process when requested: schools you applied to, personal statement, college you commit to, financial aid package

Sign up for our CSULB Trip!
BEAM is taking high school students to visit and tour Cal State Long Beach on
Saturday, September 19th, 2026 | 8:45am - 3pm
We will meet at the BEAM office and travel to CSULB to explore and learn about the campus. Lunch will be provided! The schedule for the day is still being finalized, but it will include a campus tour, a visit to CSULB's Science Learning Center and lunch, among other activities! Exact information will be provided in follow up confirmation emails.
