Free Pre-Conference Event: Explore Astrobiology!
Calling all teenagers who are fascinated by astrobiology and space science! We are excited to invite you to a special pre-conference event that will take place before AbSciCon, the renowned international astrobiology conference sponsored by NASA.
At this extraordinary event, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with NASA scientists and academic researchers who are at the forefront of astrobiology and space science. Learn from their expertise and gain valuable insights into this captivating field.

Q&A Session: Sunday, May 5th 7-8:30 pm

Who Can Attend
This FREE event is open to all teenagers aged 13-19 interested in astrobiology and space science.
FOR SENIOR STUDENTS
JANE STREET UNBOXED PROGRAM
You are invited to apply to the Jane Street Unboxed Program! Unboxed is an exciting three-week hybrid program for recent high school graduates who are interested in STEM topics and self-identify with a historically underrepresented ethnic or racial group.
When:
Monday, July 8th - Friday, July 26th, 2024
Where:
This is a hybrid program; the first two weeks will be virtual and the third week will be in person at Jane Street’s NYC Office.
Funding:
This program is 100% FREE! All fees for travel and accommodations are covered for BEAM students. In addition, students are automatically eligible for scholarships from the Jane Street Program.

Sunday, May 12th, 2024 at 11:59pm ET

GETTING LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
A regular and important part of completing summer program applications is submitting one or several letters of recommendation from a student’s teachers or counselors. One of the great perks of being a BEAM Pathway student is that you can ask any of us at BEAM to be one of your letter writers!
